Citrix Summit and Synergy San Francisco

The Citrix Summit and Synergy 2011 event on May 24-27 was a mecca for forward-thinking companies across the global Citrix ecosystem. Partners looking to drive business growth flocked to the conference, where they took full advantage of intensive education, technical and sales training and networking with customers, peers and Citrix staff.

The San Francisco conference was the first of two Summit and Synergy events for 2011: the second will be held in Barcelona, Spain, on October 24-28. Barcelona attendees will benefit from a second opportunity for training and education, plus a six-month update on Citrix products and technologies – all presented in one of the world’s top destination cities.

The Summit agenda included in-depth technical sessions, hands-on training and market strategies on how to succeed in a competitive landscape. Sessions on the latest solutions for virtualization and clouds provided updates on key trends and hot technologies. In addition, attendees learned proven sales messages that resonate with customers, new tools for effectively telling the virtual computing story, and tips and techniques for getting the most out of their Citrix partnership.

Summit registration included admission to the three-day Citrix Synergy conference, where partners joined their customers and prospects to hear from industry visionaries, solutions vendors, and Citrix executives, architects, consultants and product experts. Synergy highlights included the new Desktop Transformation program, which took attendees from the "wow" to the "how" of desktop virtualization with a combination of educational sessions, exhibits, demos and hands-on experiences.
